GOSPEL FOR KARELIA

Gospel for Karelia is the part of Slavic Baptist Church's outreach to the people of Russia. Our calling is to reach the people of Karelia with the Gospel and plant new churches. Since the summer of 2008, a group of missionaries from different churches in the USA would annually visit Karelia, Russia in order to establish a permanent local church. Initially the ministry consisted of annual summer children's camps. Over the next few years a small group of believers grew and a permanent missionary moved to the city of Petrozavodsk to help grow the church and provide follow up to children that heard the Gospel every summer since 2008. 

ABOUT OUR MISSIONARY

Evgeny Zinin and his family moved to Petrozavodsk.  He is a full-time missionary who is supported by our church and other believers. You can read more about Evgeny and the work God is doing through him on our blog.
